Seller's description

This cool bag is in very good condition though some of the scales want to peel, simply due to the pleating at the front top. Measures approximately 10x7 inches Follow me and visit my shop for tons of vintage and Y2K!

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: clearly a small shoulder handbag with a rectangular body and long chain strap.
  • photo 2: interior compartments, a zip pocket, and snap closures are visible.
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: the exterior is snakeskin-patterned exotic leather or imitation snakeskin, not the typical solid glove-tanned leather of classic vintage Coach.
  • photo 1: no COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, leather hangtag, or other Coach identifier is visible.
  • photo 2: no creed patch, serial/style number, or Coach fabric tag is visible in the interior.
  • photo 2: the dark lining and small plated-looking hardware do not provide distinctive vintage Coach evidence.
  • listing description: seller identifies the material as snakeskin and mentions peeling scales; this is not evidence of Coach manufacture.
  • photo 1: body is snakeskin / exotic-pattern with brown leather trim, not vintage Coach glove-tanned cowhide
  • photo 1: thin metal chain shoulder strap, not Coach classic buckle-adjustable leather strap or dogleash clips
  • photo 2: dark fabric-lined interior with zip and slip pockets, not unlined suede-back glove-tanned classic interior
  • photo 1, photo 2: no COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, creed patch, or leather hangtag visible
  • photo 2: snap closures visible, no turnlock with Coach geometry
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 2: a straight-on, fully emptied interior view of every wall and pocket, including any hidden labels or fabric tags.
  • close-up photos of all hardware, zipper pulls, snaps, and the chain attachment points.
  • photo 1: clear views of the bottom, side seams, corners, and back.
  • seller-stated country of manufacture, measurements including depth, and any readable brand or material label.
  • photo of any interior leather creed patch or fabric tags straight-on in raking light (not shown)
  • photo of hardware stamps on chain, snaps, zipper pull (not shown)
  • photo of back, sides, bottom corners (not shown)
  • photo of hangtag if present (not shown)
  • seller-stated dimensions help but scale not verifiable without additional views
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ No Coach-specific identifier is visible, so the bag currently appears to be a generic snakeskin shoulder bag rather than an identifiable Coach model.
  • ⚠ The peeling or lifting scales described by the seller and visible on the exterior indicate material deterioration; the photos do not establish whether the snakeskin is genuine or imitation.
