Seller's description

Very good condition for the age of the purse. Purchased it from a private, vintage collector. The bag is from mid to late 1960s Thick, gorgeous leather. Just the right size. If you’re into that era this is definitely your thing.

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: substantial leather shoulder bag with an aged, handcrafted appearance consistent with a vintage accessory
  • photo 3: visible long adjustable leather shoulder strap and side attachment hardware
  • photo 4: seller-provided ruler indicates a compact handbag approximately 9–10 inches wide
  • photo 1-2: thick leather with unlined suede interior and aged patina consistent with old bag, seller states thick leather
  • photo 4,6: ~10-11 in wide flap shoulder bag with tape measurements providing scale
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: ornate scalloped tooling, extensive lacing, decorative straps, and ring-style closure do not resemble the documented Coach classic handbag construction
  • photo 3: no visible COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, or Coach hangtag
  • photo 4: no Coach creed patch or serial/style number is visible on the exterior
  • photo 2: interior appears suede/leather, but no Coach identifier is visible
  • photo 6: decorative western/bohemian design is more consistent with an unbranded or artisan leather bag than a cataloged Coach model
  • photo 1,3,4,6: no creed patch, COACH wordmark, horse-and-carriage, or leather hangtag visible
  • photo 1,3,4,6: western-tooled embossed pattern with laced/woven side seams - not Coach glove-tanned classic construction
  • photo 4,6: closure is large metal rings on straps with central ring-tab, not Coach Cashin turnlock geometry with oval back-plate and slim tab
  • photo 1,2: unlined suede interior with lacing, but no rectangular sewn-in creed patch on back wall or slip pocket visible
  • photo 3-6: thin flat shoulder strap on large plain metal rings, not Coach buckle-adjustable or dogleash-clip construction
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 2: interior back wall and all pockets should be photographed straight-on to confirm whether any creed, label, or maker mark is present
  • photo 1: close-ups of all hardware, closure, and strap attachment points
  • photo 3: underside, back, bottom, and both side panels are not fully documented
  • seller-stated country of manufacture and any provenance or maker information
  • photo 2: interior is shadowed/blurry - need straight-on raking-light view of any stamped patch or interior markings to confirm no creed
  • photo 1-6: no legible COACH wordmark, creed patch, or hangtag shown - request close-ups of interior back wall and any tags
  • photo 4-6: hardware stamps not legible - request close-up of ring-clasp, rivets and strap rings
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ The visible construction and decorative tooling are inconsistent with the known Coach model catalog and classic Coach hardware conventions.
  • ⚠ No Coach identifier is visible in the supplied photos; the bag should be treated as non-Coach unless an interior maker mark is found.
  • ⚠ The central ring-and-box closure and decorative lacing appear unlike a vintage Coach turnlock.
