Seller's description

Retro-Vintage bag. Very hard-to-find bag with retro mechanism & design. *Damages from aging and uses include: 1) Crack on the inner side of the flap; and 2) Half detached belt loop on the front (one end is detached). *Retro features: The closure mechanism to open the flap is a push type, i.e., push from both sides of the piece (like pinching with two fingers). If you open the bag, you see the two separate opening, but the partition part between the two openings is another opening. Pressing the silver button on the top, you can open it. There are inner pockets, etc. as shown in the photo. This bag may not be for practical purpose in our modern life, but if you want something different, this is definitely "different".

Evidence

POSITIVE
  • Photo 1: clearly a structured leather handbag with a top handle, flap, and multiple compartments.
  • Photo 2: the bag has a vintage-style frame and push-button closure.
NEGATIVE
  • Photos 1 and 6: the crocodile/alligator-style exterior, large structured frame, and decorative construction do not resemble the documented classic Coach glove-tanned silhouettes.
  • Photos 1-6: no visible Coach wordmark, horse-and-carriage emblem, leather hangtag, creed patch, or serial/style number.
  • Photos 1 and 4: the exterior is exotic-crocodile-pattern leather rather than the smooth or naturally pebbled glove-tanned leather typical of the relevant vintage Coach lines.
  • Photo 5: the interior is fabric-lined and highly compartmentalized, unlike many classic unlined vintage Coach handbags.
  • Photo 4: severe cracking and delamination are visible around the strap, belt loop, and leather edges.
  • photo 1,6: glossy brown crocodile/alligator-embossed skin with boxy frame shape, not Coach glove-tanned cowhide
  • photo 2,5: tan fabric lining with zip pocket, not unlined suede-back glove-tanned interior of vintage Coach classics
  • photo 2,5: pinch/push frame closure with silver-tone button/frame, no Coach turnlock geometry present
  • photo 1,4,6: no creed patch, no COACH wordmark, no horse-and-carriage, no leather hangtag visible in any view
  • photo 4: side buckle/belt-loop construction and thin top handle with cracking, inconsistent with Coach strap/buckle and dogleash construction
MISSING INFORMATION
  • A straight-on photo of every interior wall and pocket to verify whether any brand label or creed is present.
  • Close-ups of all hardware, zipper pulls, frame fittings, and any hidden stamps.
  • Photos of the underside, bottom corners, back, and full strap attachment points.
  • Material confirmation: genuine crocodile/alligator versus embossed cowhide or synthetic leather.
  • Seller-stated dimensions, provenance, and any interior or hardware markings.
  • No creed patch or brand stamp shown - request straight-on interior wall/pocket photos (photos 2,5 show lining with no patch visible)
  • No Coach wordmark, hangtag, or hardware engraving visible - confirm no stamped marks
  • No bottom/corners close-up beyond photo 1 distance view
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ No Coach identifiers are visible in the supplied photos, while the silhouette and exotic-style construction are inconsistent with the likely vintage Coach models.
  • ⚠ The bag's construction appears more consistent with an unbranded vintage exotic-style frame handbag than with Coach; this is a lookalike assessment, not an authentication.
