Evidence

POSITIVE
  • photo 1: Clearly a handbag with bamboo-style circular handles, long detachable shoulder strap, and woven body.
  • photo 3: Decorative embroidered floral motifs and natural-fiber woven construction are visible.
  • photo 4: The bag has leather-look trim and strap with metal swivel clips.
NEGATIVE
  • photo 1: Woven straw/raffia-style body and embroidered flowers are not typical vintage Coach glove-tanned leather construction.
  • photo 1: No Coach wordmark, carriage, or other Coach branding is visible.
  • photo 2: No leather creed patch or serial/style number is visible on the exterior.
  • photo 4: Bamboo-style ring handles, textile body, and decorative floral embroidery point to a generic vintage straw or resort bag rather than a Coach classic.
  • photo 5: Back construction shows no visible Coach identifier.
  • photo 6: Bottom is woven textile/fiber rather than Coach leather.
MISSING INFORMATION
  • photo 1-6: Interior, lining, zipper compartment, and any sewn-in brand label are not shown.
  • photo 1-6: No close-up of a possible interior label or maker tag.
  • photo 1-6: Seller-stated 1960s date is not independently verifiable from the photos.
AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS
  • ⚠ photo 1-6: No Coach-specific identifier is visible, and the straw/textile construction is inconsistent with the Coach vintage leather population.
  • ⚠ photo 1-6: The seller's description identifies the materials as faux leather strap and woven straw, which further weighs against a vintage Coach leather handbag; this is seller-stated rather than independently verified.
